Japanese themed project, Dragekongen

Djurs Sommerland approached us with a dream of crafting a magnificent Japanese themed area that would be as amazing as their brand new ride, Dragekongen (translated into English, the Dragon King).

We received a drawing and a picture of some ideas they had in mind and our highly skilled designers created exactly the dragon they needed and the comprehensive theme they desired based on these drawings. As part of this project, we also designed and produced a Buddha to enhance the Japanese-themed experience. To complete the themed project, we also delivered and installed flags and Chinese pottery, as well as other theme-enhancing elements.

“For our new large scale attraction “DrageKongen”, we needed a collaboration that could deliver themes of very high quality based on our vision. We chose MK Themed Attractions (formerly Tema Design by MK Illumination) as we know they are capable of this, and they  have always delivered on time when we have used them as our supplier.” – Henrik B. Nielsen, CEO, Djurs Sommerland
