For their 2018 season Djurs Sommerland wanted to update an old and loved ride with a new and more modern name and decoration. The new name became Abekatten and the ride’s new look is still based on Africa, but the decoration is more naturalistic than previously as it shows life-like and life-sized gorillas and monkeys.
